Agrawal’s comments seem to suggest that he acknowledges the possibility of Musk’s purchase not going through. The Tesla CEO, who has said ridding Twitter of bots is one of his top goals, earlier in the day that the deal was “temporarily on hold pending details supporting calculation that spam/fake accounts do indeed represent less than 5% of users.” He later added that he was “still committed to the acquisition.”
